Dr Roderic Pitty teaches international politics at UWA, focusing on global governance, human rights and contemporary Europe. He has assisted lawyers representing Aboriginal families who have lost loved ones in custody. He has written about the unfinished business of Indigenous citizenship in Australia and New Zealand in a book of essays by various authors titled Does History Matter? (ANU E Press, 2009, available athttp://epress.anu.edu.au/immigration_citation.html) which has analysis of refugee policy inAustralia.
WAZA Multicultural Musical Group is community based Sudanese cultural group in WA. We have approximately 6 members and a wide range of supporters from diverse cultural groups within the community. WAZA Musical Multicultural Group was formed to promote acceptance and understanding of cultural diversity in our society, using music and performance.
