This year's FAW(WA) Tom Collins Poetry Prize.

With NSW poet Les Wicks as judge, NINE West Australians received recognition in this Australia wide competition.

Fremantle singer/songwriter Ruthie Parker will also delight you with her very beautiful voice and contemporary original songs.

Results in the competition were:

First prize: "The Thaumaturge" by Christopher Konrad (WA)
Second prize: "Halfway Across the Desert" by Karen Dixon (WA)
